Founder, Lead Development Coach

Dan O’Brien, founder, and lead development coach created the TEN90 Coaching Group in 2017 to provide executive-level coaching to business professionals and their teams. His goal is to provide highly effective personal and team leadership skills that are simplified, personalized and life-changing. Dan’s passion for cultural and leadership development is founded in his passion for people, and organizations that value their people above all else.

With over 25 years of leadership experience, including his current role with the Cincinnati Reds as their Leadership Development and Organizational Health consultant, Dan has also served as the Leadership and Development Coach for the San Francisco Giants and currently consults with businesses in other industries that include finance, apparel, insurance, and construction.

After working as the Assistant GM for a professional baseball organization and subsequently spending 15 years as the Head Baseball Coach at the University of California, San Diego, Dan moved his family to Northern California to become the Head Baseball Coach at Santa Clara University in 2011. In his coaching tenure, Dan earned 11 Coach of the Year honors, including two National Coach of the Year awards.

Dan is an experienced leadership team and one-on-one executive coach who holds certifications as a practitioner with the Myers Briggs Foundation (MBTI), Hogan Assessments, LVI 360 Assessments, and is a certified, leadership and organizational health consultant through The Table Group consulting firm.

Dan lives in Pleasanton, California with his wife, Nicole, and two children, Allie and Adam.
